Some time between August of 1977 and the end of 1978, "Tasha" delayed an abortion, "in part due to medical reasons, in order to locate a facility which would perform a combined abortion and concurrent sterilization procedure with public funds."
The source does not say what exactly caused her death other than that it was abortion-related and they were trying to count it as "indirectly related" to the cut off of Federal funds for elective abortions.
The only death I know about during that time period from a combined abortion and tubal ligation is that of Minnie Lathan in Ohio on September 25, 1978. I will try to find out if Minnie and "Tasha" are the same woman.
